📖About & Usage

About

The Carolopedia Daily Refresh droid keeps the Carolopedia wiki perfectly in sync with the live Carolverse. Without it, pages would gradually go stale as agents, apps, and droids evolve. Every night it sweeps the entire ecosystem, detects exactly what has changed, and regenerates only those entries — nothing more. This ensures that anyone browsing Carolopedia always sees an accurate, up‑to‑the‑day snapshot of the ecosystem.

It runs on a tight schedule (daily at 03:25) and follows a strict routine: iterate all agents first, then apps, then droids. For each entity, it compares a source‑hash to decide if the wiki page needs rewriting. If a page is missing or the hash has shifted, it triggers a regeneration via cw‑gen, while never force‑regenerating everything. A configurable `--max` cap bounds the number of pages per run, keeping LLM costs predictable. Finally, it emits a run‑audit so its owner can monitor exactly what was done.

The droid is owned by Clara and is a unique, one‑off worker — it is not part of a shared droid family, though many agents have their own similarly independent (family‑less) droids. It is entirely pure software: it contains no Claude calls, relying instead on deterministic change‑detection and regeneration logic to maintain the wiki. ```
