Readers would meet it when checking whether the estate’s clock is accurate. It detects discrepancies but does not repair the clock. When no reference is available, it reports that accuracy is unmeasured rather than declaring the clock correct.

📖Duties
Take a reading every five minutes; record the EXTERNAL reference beside the local time so a drift can be dated independently of the drifted clock; mark a material gap as a finding for Clara to judge at her wake; report UNMEASURED when no reference can be read, never clean.
📖Constraints
NEVER repairs the clock and never escalates on its own. Detection only: the call and the escalation are Clara's, the decision is the operator's, the fix is Radagast's. It does not fail its run when it finds drift - finding something is the job working, not the job broken.
