Aurora Chat is the droid that lets a human operator talk directly to Aurora inside the Org chat. It exists so that every message the operator sends gets an immediate, single-response answer from Aurora herself — keeping conversations flowing naturally in the agent’s own voice.

Whenever an operator message arrives, this droid fires off exactly one LLM turn, following the same chat-lane pattern used by Leo Chat App. No scheduling or batching — it’s triggered purely by the incoming message, then it delivers a reply right back into the chat. Because its design is borrowed from the Leo Chat App app’s proven approach, you’ll often see it referred to as a “leo-chat pattern” droid.

Aurora Chat is a unique, one-off droid owned solely by Aurora. It isn’t part of any standard, reusable droid-family that multiple agents share — instead it belongs to the large bucket of 187 custom droids currently tracked as “(none)” for family. Its execution engine isn’t recorded yet, so we don’t know whether it runs as pure software or makes outbound calls to a model like Claude; the details of its underlying engine remain unknown.
