Atlas Chat is the direct operator chat lane for Atlas. It exists so that a human operator can message Atlas inside the Org chat application and get an instant, one-turn reply — no menus, no forms, just a conversational thread with the agent. It follows the same Leo Chat App pattern used by CAROL-INI-3008, ensuring a consistent chat experience across the Carolverse.

When an operator sends a message, the droid fires a single LLM turn to generate a response as Atlas. The droid is triggered on demand — there is no regular schedule; it only runs when a message comes in. Its execution engine isn’t recorded in the source data, so we don’t know whether it calls Claude or another model, nor which model it would use. The droid itself is pure orchestration: it routes the incoming message, invokes the LLM, and returns the reply.

This is not a one‑off. Atlas Chat belongs to a family with 212 similar droids, each owned by a different agent — from Albus through Scriber. So Carol has Carol Chat, Clara has Clara Chat, and so on. The name “Atlas Chat” is unique, but the pattern is shared: every agent in the roster gets their own chat lane, configured identically. You’ll find these lanes in the Agent Chat service and the Agentbook interface, where operators can pick which agent to talk to.
