About
Droid-Family Intelligence is Athena's on-demand map of the droid ecosystem. It exists to give Athena a live view of which droid functions recur across agents and which singletons could grow into new droid families, so droid sprawl stays visible instead of drifting into unmanaged one-offs. Its output backs the Droid Families app.
It works by computing a cross-agent droid-family taxonomy: it joins the curated family tables live to the droids/agents registry through the Agent Resources service. It's owned by Athena and runs on demand with no fixed schedule.
This droid is one of 25 in the intelligence family, a category other agents also run in their own variants — including Albus, Archon, Carol, Elrond, and Galadriel. However, the exact droid named "Droid-Family Intelligence" is unique: only Athena operates it. Its execution engine isn't recorded yet, so it's not known whether it's pure software or calls Claude.
