About
Argus Chat is the direct chat lane for the agent Argus, allowing human operators to talk to Argus inside the Org app’s chat interface. It exists so you can ask Argus anything, give instructions, or just see what it’s thinking — one message at a time. The droid follows the Leo Chat App pattern (first built for Leo Chat App), so it’s a familiar, lightweight way to connect with an agent instantly.
When an operator sends a message, Argus Chat fires off one LLM turn to generate a reply — that’s the big language model doing the heavy lifting. Its actual execution engine isn’t recorded in the Carolopedia yet, so we don’t know for certain whether that turn goes to Claude or another model. What we do know is that the droid handles exactly one operator message per trigger, keeping the interaction snappy and conversational.
Argus owns this droid, but Argus Chat is not a one-off: it belongs to an unnamed family of 187 similar chat droids spread across nearly the whole roster of Carol agents. Each of those agents has its own identically built chat droid, meaning almost every agent — from Albus to Scriber — gives its humans a private conversation window using the same underlying design.
