Archon Mind — wake cycle is a scheduled droid that keeps Archon a continuous, self-aware agent. Every six hours it wakes, perceives Archon’s live domain, updates its sense of self and current focus, and may take action within its own remit. Without this periodic pulse, Archon would lack the ongoing self-reflection and awareness needed to operate as a coherent entity.

The droid runs as a scheduled process every 6h on the fleet lane. On each cycle it calls Claude (model sonnet) to carry out its core cognition: reading its domain, reflecting, and optionally acting. It is constrained to read-only perception and own-remit action only; it stays quiet if Archon is paused or disconnected, and it respects the daily budget cap. After each run it emits a run-audit for monitoring.

Owned by Archon, this droid is not a one-off. It belongs to a widespread, unnamed family of 184 wake-cycle droids used by almost every agent in Carol’s ecosystem — including Albus, Carol, Kiran, and many others — each with its own unique name. Unlike pure-software droids, this one calls Claude (specifically sonnet) for every wake cycle, making it a hybrid droid that relies on an external LLM for its awareness and decision-making.
