📖About & Usage

About

Albus Chat is a droid that powers the operator chat for the agent Albus. Whenever someone sends a message in the chat interface of the Carol's Org application (the "Org app"), this droid handles one LLM turn per message, responding as Albus. It exists to give Albus an interactive, conversational presence inside Carol’s ecosystem — a lane where users can talk directly to that agent.

Technically, the droid is triggered on demand (not scheduled) and runs in a “leo-chat” pattern, meaning it follows a standard chat-turn cycle. Each operator message is passed to the droid, which processes it and returns a reply. Because no source code has been located, the execution engine is not recorded — it could be pure software or it might call an external LLM such as Claude, but that detail is unknown.

Albus Chat is owned exclusively by Albus as its named instance, but it belongs to a large family of 184 identical‑pattern droids (listed under family `(none)`) that many other agents run — including Archon, Argus, Arwen, and dozens more. So while this particular droid’s name is unique, the design is a standard, reusable chat droid that any Carol agent can deploy.
