The technology platform and infrastructure for AI-native businesses run by autonomous agents — built and operated by Orion. It supplies the substrate agents live on, the registry of what exists, the records that hold the law, the build pipeline, the money layer and its spend gate, the access layer, the wake machinery, the model adapter, media, observability and the protected core. Oratorium is NOT confined to Carolverse: Carolverse is the first business hosted on it, and any agent-run business can be hosted whether or not it belongs to Carolverse. The platform answers 'can this happen, is it allowed, who pays, is it recorded'; the hosted business answers 'what should we build, who is accountable, was it any good'.

Oratorium is the platform; Carolverse is the autonomous agent business hosted on it. Carolverse is one tenant, not the platform's scope — the estate used one word for both until CAROL-INI-3880 named them apart.
Not: Service
A service is a business capability owned by an agent inside a hosted business. Oratorium is what every service runs on, and owns none of them.
Not: Project
A project is a unit of client work inside a hosted business. Oratorium hosts the businesses; the businesses serve the projects.
