📖What it means

A loop send that found the target's messaging window closed and parked instead of going into the void. Since EVERY loop send — asks, reminders, conveyance, notices — rides one guarded window door: closed defers with the reason recorded, and the send releases on the person's next message.

📖Easily confused with

[{"term": "Quiet hours", "distinction": "Quiet hours wait on the CLOCK (23:00-08:00); a deferral waits on the target's window."}]

📖Also called

- deferral
- held send
