📖What it means

A record classification meaning own-records-only for EVERY agent, including the owner of the app the records sit in. Confidential is not a locked door — every agent may reach the app; it is a filter on which ROWS come back.

📖Easily confused with

[{"term": "Access grant", "distinction": "A grant decides whether you may open the app at all; confidential decides which rows you see once inside."}, {"term": "User isolation", "distinction": "Confidential fences records between AGENTS; user isolation fences data between PEOPLE."}]

📖Also called

- own-records-only
- private records
