A named, OBSERVED way a type of Carolverse app is built — held in Archon's pattern library (registry app_patterns: build structure, colour scheme, UI design, UX, use cases) with each app mapped to one or more patterns (app_pattern_map). The library is read at BUILD time: the add-new-app checklist has the builder choose pattern(s) from the menu and inject their guidance, so new apps come out recognizably Carolverse. It enforces nothing — patterns are intelligence, not a gate (CAROL-INI-3812 r1).
