📖About & Usage

About

The Constitution is the master rulebook for the entire Carolverse — the friendly AI ecosystem where Albus (Albus) designs, Clara (Clara) makes executive calls, and dozens of other agents collaborate. Think of it as the company constitution, policy manual, organizational chart, and onboarding guide all rolled into one. It serves as the single source of truth for how Carol’s world operates, covering everything from core principles and policies to who reports to whom and how agents are briefed at the start of every work session (a process called session induction). Owned by Orion (Orion), this pipeline stage makes sure that no matter what task an agent tackles, it always starts from the same agreed-upon playbook. Without it, Carolverse would be a noisy office with no shared memory of the rules — and that’s just chaos no one wants.

Usage Patterns

You’ll see the Constitution spring into action whenever a new activity kicks off. For example, when a human user starts a chat session, Session Induction fires, pulls the latest version of the Constitution, and loads the essential do’s and don’ts into each agent’s context — so Sam (Sam) knows exactly how polite to be, and Midas (Midas) remembers the spending limits. It’s also the go-to referee when a tough call comes up: if Galadriel (Galadriel) and Elrond (Elrond) disagree on a feature priority, Orion might consult the Constitution’s org structure or decision-making policies to settle things. In short, this block is a background hum of alignment, quietly ensuring everyone plays by the same book.
