πŸ“–About & Usage

About

The Quality Scorecard is Carol’s central quality dashboard: a quick way to see whether services are meeting the standards expected of them. It brings together each service, the quality measures applied to it, the target for every measure, and a simple Met or Not Met result. Each measure also links to the app that produced it, so readers can move from the headline verdict to the supporting detail without hunting around the Carolverse.

The scorecard exists to turn scattered quality signals into one clear, shared view. It is owned by Prometheus, Carol’s Head of Quality Management, and sits alongside more specialised views such as the Audit Scorecard and Process Health Scorecard. Access is restricted to authenticated users; it is not a public app.

Usage Patterns

The Quality Scorecard is used whenever someone needs an estate-wide quality check: during routine reviews, before a release, after a service change, or when a recurring problem needs attention. It does not replace the apps that measure individual services. Instead, it acts as the friendly front desk, showing the target, the latest status, and where to go for the evidence.

For example, imagine a service has passed its functional tests but is missing its reliability target. The scorecard shows the testing measure as Met and the reliability measure as Not Met, with links to the relevant measuring apps. Prometheus and the service’s team can immediately see what needs investigation, open the detailed evidence, and follow progress until the target is met.

Change2026-07-04

The Quality Scorecard has been redesigned with a new chrome and layout: the Target and Current columns have been replaced by a green-tick/red-cross Status, and the Services|Measure|Status three-column layout now includes readable descriptions and links to the Services Catalogue and Process Monitoring dashboard. Additionally, top stat boxes have been added.
