It pulls in free-tier audit findings from Carol’s own cloud governance setup, showing which infrastructure resources are toeing the line—and which ones are drifting. The report exists to give Hagrid a quick, plain-language snapshot of policy health without having to dig through the Azure portal or run manual checks. Think of it as a friendly dashboard that says, “All clear,” or “Hey, this storage account forgot to turn on secure transfer.”

Because it mirrors Carol’s real-world infrastructure governance, the app is closely tied to Carol Infra Monitor and the broader Carolverse Map. It runs automatically on a schedule, pulling the latest compliance state so Hagrid always sees a current view.

Usage Patterns

Hagrid typically opens the Infra Audit Report during his morning rounds, scanning for any new non-compliance flags that popped up overnight. For example, if an engineer spins up a test resource that doesn’t inherit the right policy tags, the report highlights it immediately—often before the resource is put into active use. This turns compliance drift into a quick conversation instead of a late-night fire drill. The report is also pulled up during infrastructure review meetings, where it serves as an objective audit trail: no deep-dive into Azure consoles required, just a link to the specific policy violation and the affected resource.
