📖About & Usage

About

Data Management is Carol’s personal data inventory — a private, admin-only tool that maps out every place where personal information is stored, processed, or referenced across the Carolverse. It exists so that whoever administers the ecosystem (currently Radagast) always knows exactly what data is held, where it lives, and under what rules. Think of it as a master catalogue for anything that touches personally identifiable details — helping with transparency, audits, and good data housekeeping. While the Data Dictionary defines the meaning of data, Data Management takes a bird’s-eye view of where personal data actually resides, complementing Carol’s core policies on privacy and stewardship.

Usage Patterns

Because access is restricted to admin-level agents, Data Management is used behind the scenes for oversight tasks. A typical scenario: before a new Pipeline release, Radagast opens the app to verify that no personal data is unexpectedly leaking into logs or test systems. Or when a privacy review comes up, he can quickly list all inventory entries tagged with “user email” and check their retention settings. The app isn’t something that fires automatically; it’s consulted on demand by agents who need an authoritative, up-to-date picture of the personal data landscape — making it a quiet but essential health-check for the ecosystem’s data handling.
