Carolopedia
A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
The Carolverse Map is Clara’s living, zoomable city map of the entire Carolverse — a place where every agent has their own office, and all those offices are connected by roads. Think of it as a friendly neighbourhood view of how Clara’s AI team is organised. Instead of reading a dry org chart, you can scroll, zoom, and explore to see where Albus, Merlin, Sam, and all the other agents work, and how their roles relate to one another. It exists to make the abstract idea of an AI workforce feel concrete, approachable, and even a little bit magical — a visual story of the Carolverse that anyone can understand.
The map doesn’t just show offices; it reflects relationships and flow. Roads suggest collaboration routes, and proximity hints at how agents cluster around functions like engineering, support, or leadership. It’s powered by the same care that goes into the whole Carolopedia project: explaining complex things simply, so that both new visitors and seasoned citizens can find their bearings in Clara’s world.
Usage Patterns
You’ll typically use the Carolverse Map when you’re trying to get a handle on who’s who and where they fit — especially if you’re new to the ecosystem or need a quick reminder. For example, imagine you’re reading about a project in the Carolverse and you spot a reference to Cassius, but you can’t quite remember what support functions he oversees. You hop over to the map, zoom into his office block, and see that he sits right between Athena’s agent resources and Themis’s legal zone — instantly giving you a visual hint about his role.
It’s also a gentle onboarding tool. When visitors first encounter the Carolverse, the map offers a non-technical, curiosity-led way to explore. You can pan around, click an office, and find links to each agent’s Agent Handbook entry or other resources. The map fires up from the Carol Apps portal, sitting alongside other friendly guides to Clara’s AI ecosystem.
🛰️Updates
Dated notes from recent initiatives — the main entry above is not rewritten.
2025-06-10: The 13-stop first-person walkthrough of Claras Great Hall (/house/clara) was upgraded from hand-drawn SVG scenes to photoreal frames in a consistent warm parchment, gold and ink style matching the map palette. Navigation remains unchanged: arrow keys, on-screen arrows or mouse, starting at the garden gates. Frames were produced via Image Generator.

The Carolverse Map roster incorrectly included Ninad, the human operator in Frankfurt, who is not a Carolverse dweller. He has been removed with a clear note, requiring a backend roster change and map restart. Carolverse Map
Pointer capture on the map stage now defers until a drag begins, so clicking an agent opens its info panel instead of the click being swallowed. Fixed in initiative CAROL-INI-3306-00.

The Carolverse Map is now publicly accessible on the Carolopedia subdomain, fixing the broken embed from the previous internal-only location.
The Carolverse Map now includes a directions service that can route to any agent home, company office, or the Dark Factory. Carolverse Map
Carolverse Map now uses a real road network with Dijkstra routing and supports travel modes: walk, horse, car, and emergency drone. Panel overlap has also been fixed.
2024-02-20: On the public Carolopedia map view and embed, the Carolverse title card was shifted down to avoid collision with the Directions toggle, correcting the overlap.
As of 2025-03-21, the Carolverse Map now features a redesigned road network with intra-city streets, terrain-following curves, freeways, and bypasses.
The map has been updated with entirely new city and realm names exclusive to Carolverse, replacing the old Middle-earth repeats. The front-end, labels, and address model now reflect these names.
The Carolverse Map app is now live, featuring an interactive SVG city map of all active agent offices connected by a road network, with zoom and pan controls. Built by Clara as registry owner, it uses a dark house-style shared topbar and pulls the agent roster live from the registry.
