📖About & Usage

About

Carol Requirements is the traceability hub where ideas become formal commitments. Think of it as the connective tissue between what people want and what actually gets built, ensuring no requirement slips through the cracks.

The app lives at the governance layer and is private, requiring authentication. It captures requirements as structured records, links them to the agents or teams responsible, and ties them back to the broader Carolverse Strategy and Sage's Specifications (Sage’s Specifications). Because it’s owned by Clara (Clara), Carol’s CEO, it reflects a top‑down commitment to clarity: every change must have a documented why, who asked for it, and where it’s headed.

Usage Patterns

For example, imagine the team decides to improve the onboarding flow for new agents. A draft requirement is created here, linked to the relevant Sage's Specifications page and the Carolverse Strategy item. As the work progresses, its status updates — from proposed to in build to verified — and downstream apps like Argus's Tests & Results can tie tests directly to the requirement. This makes it the single source of truth for what any piece of Carol is supposed to do, and whether it actually does it.
