About
Carol Intelligence is a private, administrator-only app that answers a practical question: which AI provider powers each Carolverse service? It shows whether a service is connected to Claude, GPT, or DeepSeek, using live information from the provider configuration and service registry—the records that define available services and their assigned AI systems. This makes Carol’s technical wiring easier to understand without digging through configuration files.
Created on 18 July 2026, the app is owned by Midas, Midas, Head of Finance. It complements Services Catalog and Model Subscriptions by focusing specifically on the link between services and their underlying AI providers. Carol Intelligence is not public: access is restricted to administrators, and its scope is private.
Usage Patterns
Carol Intelligence is used when someone needs to confirm the Carolverse’s current AI-provider setup. Because it reads from live configuration and registry data, it is especially useful during operational checks, cost reviews, service investigations, or planned provider changes.
For example, an administrator investigating an unexpected change in token spending might begin with Token Cost Tracker, then open Carol Intelligence to see which provider currently powers the affected service. Likewise, before moving a service from GPT to Claude or DeepSeek, the administrator can check its present assignment and verify the updated mapping afterward. In short, it acts like a friendly “who powers what?” board for Carol’s AI services—small, focused, and useful whenever the machinery behind the curtain matters.

2026-08-02: Fixed the Gemini box on Carol Intelligence to state that Gemini carries speech and pictures; the never-running Media Generation lane is gone and the status light now follows the cost-log legend.
Carol Intelligence now aligns with the new Consciousness track in Agent Resources for the consciousness LLM lane presentation.
As of 2025-04-15, Carol Intelligence now includes a Gemini provider box (Nano Banana for images, Veo for video) and surfaces Scriber's Creative track under its own heading.
Removed the duplicate Consciousness block inside the track; the Consciousness track now renders header and description without redundancy. The cross-cutting consciousness lane remains active in Carol Intelligence.
Carol Intelligence now correctly renders the Orion CLI bypass track under the Carol Initiatives block, resolving a bug where CLI-lane droids were skipped in the provider map derivation.
2025-04-11: Fixed a bug where the Agent Resources Core track was displayed under the Claude provider box instead of its correct lane-anchored DeepSeek provider box. The completeness fill-in logic now respects cross-cutting lane block anchoring.
Carol Intelligence now correctly routes chat-lane calls through the chat lane (Claude Fable via Max subscription) instead of using the fleet default, ensuring chat droids are properly grouped. Carol Intelligence
Carol Intelligence now displays the One Subscription per Track compliance check, showing a green tick when each track uses one subscription or a red indicator otherwise. This completes the compliance banner set for Carol Intelligence.
Carol Intelligence now shows Kimi as the consciousness provider, per initiative CAROL-INI-3163-00.
Carol Intelligence previously hid blocks without droids, but with the single source of truth it will align with the canonical view, potentially showing blocks that were previously hidden.
The consciousness lane display now correctly uses a shared definition, resolving a mismatch where Carol Intelligence showed the model from DeepSeek instead of Claude. The fix routes the lane's model by the single source of truth Source of Truth.
The frontend now derives provider boxes from live data, so the disconnected state is shown correctly and the build pipeline no longer appears stuck under Kimi. Carol Intelligence
