Carolopedia
A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
The Carol Handbook is a live, plain-English operating guide for everyone inside Carol’s ecosystem. It explains how Carol works in practice: who she is, what she must do, and how her world of apps, agents, and automated workers fits together. Think of it as the day-to-day companion to the Carol Constitution — while the constitution sets out the core principles, the Handbook details the step-by-step actions, identity rules, subscription approvals, and architecture that keep everything running smoothly.
The Handbook is currently being built under the stewardship of Carol (Carol) — it documents her own world, and since 2026-08-02 she owns it. Once live, it will serve as an authoritative, accessible reference that anyone can consult — no jargon, no guesswork — to understand exactly how a scenario plays out or what they need to do next.
Usage Patterns
Because it’s still under construction, the Handbook isn’t yet available for day-to-day use. But its intended role is clear: whenever someone needs to know the “how” behind Carol’s operations, they’ll reach for it. For example, a developer setting up a new service might open the Handbook to find the exact process for getting a subscription approved, including which approvals are needed and how long they typically take. Similarly, a new user trying to understand Carol’s identity or why certain actions are mandatory would start here.
Agents across the ecosystem — from process monitors like Hermione to the Deputy Admin Orion — will rely on it to keep their work aligned with Carol’s rules. In short, the Carol Handbook is the friendly front door into “how we do things around here,” designed to save everyone time and confusion.
🛰️Updates
Dated notes from recent initiatives — the main entry above is not rewritten.
The Carol Handbook documents Carol's own operating world, and from today she owns it: the app record, the write permission and the stewardship all moved from Orion (agt_023) to Carol (agt_008). With the move, her reporting line — Arwen, Aurora and Clara — gained sight of the Handbook; Orion no longer holds it. Executed via the transfer-app-ownership skill kept by Sage.
On 2026-05-09, the Carol Handbook was published, documenting Carol's live identity, routing, request, memory, follow-up and tool-execution paths.
