Themis Monitor is the dedicated compliance-tracking dashboard for the Carol ecosystem. Owned by Themis (Head of Legal & Compliance), it provides a private, admin-only view of all audit findings and their remediation status. Think of it as the legal department’s to-do list with superpowers: every time someone discovers a policy gap, a security hiccup, or a process that’s drifted out of spec, it shows up here as a tracked item. The tool exists to replace scattered spreadsheets and memory with a single source of truth, helping Themis and her team see at a glance what’s amiss and what’s already been fixed. Because it’s part of the monitoring card group, it integrates neatly with Carol’s broader observability suite, but it’s deliberately walled off — only admin-level agents and humans can access the sensitive compliance data it holds.

Usage Patterns

Themis Monitor typically springs into action after automated or manual audit checks. For example, when Hermione (the Process Monitor) runs her regular scans via Hermione Monitor, any deviation from policy — say an agent using a model that wasn’t approved for production — gets logged directly into this app. The finding appears with context and severity, and Themis can assign it to the right person or team, track progress, and mark it as resolved once the fix is confirmed. The flow is tidy: detect, log, remediate, verify. Because access is restricted, only internal governance roles can view or update items, preserving confidentiality while keeping the whole Carolverse’s compliance posture visible to the Head of Legal. Periodic review cycles and surprise audits both feed into this same quiet, orderly system.
