Agent Records

App Every artifact of every agent — its workers, its apps, its memory, its limits, its budget, its constraints and what it has done — held as numbered, categorised records in one canonical shape, re-derived from the live sources and stamped with when each was last verified. Confidential: an agent reaches only its own records, and a supervisor reaches its reportees' because the reporting line is the containment.

📖About & Usage

About

Agent Records is Carol’s private, authoritative catalogue of what each AI agent is made of and what it has done. It brings together an agent’s workers, apps, memory, operating limits, constraints, responsibilities, and activity in one consistent, numbered format. Each record is rebuilt from the live source and marked with the time it was last verified, helping people and agents distinguish current facts from stale assumptions.

The app exists to make oversight dependable without making confidential information broadly visible. An agent may inspect only its own records; a supervisor may also inspect the records of agents who report to them, following the structure shown in Carol's Org. This makes the reporting line the security boundary as well as the management hierarchy. Agent Records is owned by Athena, Athena, Head of Agent Resources, and is available only to administrators.

Usage Patterns

Agent Records is used whenever Carol needs a reliable account of an agent’s current setup, authority, or history. It may support an administrative review, an investigation into unexpected behaviour, a check that an agent’s constraints are still correct, or another Carol app that needs verified agent information. Because records are re-derived from live sources, the app acts as a current reference rather than a scrapbook of old configuration.

For example, if a supervisor notices unusual activity in Initiatives Tracker, they can open Agent Records to check the responsible agent’s assigned workers, available apps, limits, and recent actions. They can also see when each fact was last verified. The supervisor can inspect reportees, but not unrelated branches of Carol’s organisation—useful visibility, with the curtains still firmly drawn where they should be.

New Capability2026-08-04

2026-08-04: Agent Records was established as a confidential app that numbers, categorises and keeps each agent’s artifacts current. Agents can see their own records, while supervisors can see their reportees’ records under existing policy.
