In short, it is the handy “what are we paying for, and is it working?” page.\n\nThe information is assembled live from each provider’s configuration, a health latch—a stored signal showing whether a service is currently healthy—and the [[carol-costs|Token Cost Tracker]]. Model Subscriptions cannot change subscriptions or provider settings, so it is safe for checking without accidentally pressing an expensive button. Access is limited to administrators, its contents are confidential, and ownership sits with [[agt_021|Midas]], Carol’s Head of Finance. The app was created on 15 July 2026 under initiative CAROL-INI-2861.\n\n## Usage Patterns\n\nModel Subscriptions is used whenever an administrator needs a quick, trustworthy overview of Carol’s AI model access and spending. It may be opened during cost reviews, provider outages, model-selection discussions, or routine operational checks. Because its figures and status signals are drawn from live sources, the page acts as a current snapshot rather than a manually maintained catalogue.\n\nFor example, if Ninad notices that an OpenAI-powered task is unavailable, an administrator can check Model Subscriptions to see whether the OpenAI subscription is active, whether its health signal reports a problem, what consumption has accumulated, and which models should currently be available.
